Bancroft Tiddlers 22 - Giants of Sports II

Hello,

I must confess, I dont collest this sort of stuff. I 'collect' coins a bit (I like history and have a few roman coins but post over at CCF).

I have a load of these Bancroft Tiddlers about and was thinking of selling some and I see the Giants of Sports series sells *very* well - soemthing to do with the pages being cards. Who knows? That is the root of my question. What do you guys reckon? whats special about it (printed 1960s)? Should I seperate the pages or sell the book whole?

you may want to grade the major stars if they are nice
    BUYING Frank Gotch T229 Kopec
Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable
  • I dont know who the major stars are but the booklet is in good condition - a bit yellowed from age. And how much is grading for cards?

I would be interested in the Palmer if you decide to cut it. If not let me know what you are asking for the booklet
    Thanks

The Ali and Palmer are considered early cards so they have some value. High grades sell for quite a bit. Even the backs of those players have decent value. If you are not familiar with the size of the cards I would not cut them. If they are cut too short or do not have square edges psa will not grade them with a number grade which hurts the value quite a bit. Shoot me a pm if you are interested in selling the booklet.

  • No idea how to email you - new to the forum, I need to poke about - but id like to sell it in full as I dont know enough about it to cut the stuff out (dont want to damage anything).

I dont know about value. I suppose you'd have to offer.

I would like to buy it if you don't have a sale pending already. I also have a book and not sure how I should cut the pages, I guess right down the middle for PSA??
