Hi - I'm primarily a currency collector but I am now getting back into coins. I had a bag of rusty old coins in a ziplock that I had laying around. Well, I finally decided to go through it to see what I had and I found this 1795 one cent coin. I'm trying to figure out what it's worth and if I should have it slabbed. Can anyone take a guess as to what I could get for it and if it is worth sending in for grading?
when looking at the coin from certain angles, you can't tell this kind of detail. But when the light is right, this is how it appears.
