Has anyone used "facetime" to checkout a collection?

Yeah I'm technologically late, but my kids showed me facetime on the iphone.

I was figuring, if I wanted to sell a bunch of cards, could I just get my iphone and do the facetime thing by showing the cards to another facetime user?

It would save alot of scanning time!

Anybody ever do this?

  • Video quality isn't the greatest. It would be a good way to show what you have but to determine condition really well I'm afraid a scanner would be best.

My friends and I use FaceTime to show each other new arrivals/hits/pack or box break. The clarity is good enough for basic communication, but it's far from HD with high resolution.
    I collect Cal Ripken cards, T206, E95, E210, R319.
