The first thing that came to mind was the parody of 'The Natural"s motivational speaker scene in The Simpsons episode "Homer at the Bat" but I couldn't find it on youtube. Mr. Burns brings in wringers (Mattingly, Strawbery, Clemens, Boggs, among others) to win the power plant softball league championship.
The training montages have several fun gags including a hypnotist instructing the team to give 110% effort. The hypnotised squad reply in unison "That's impossible, no one can give more than 100%, by definition that is the most anyone can give."

The hockey one is pretty good, though.

You know, on the flipside, this whole thing swings back the other way and now there are many adults who do not understand that percentages higher than 100% do exist. If you buy a card for $1 and sell it for $3, you have made 200% profit. Yet, you have people who will say - that's impossible, you can't have more than 100%....
