1986 Fleer Jordan PSA 10

What are everyone's opinions as to the legitimacy of the card/seller/grade, etc?

  • I'm always a little suspicious when a seller who has no history of selling cards comes up with high grade/high dollar card. Seller has no red flags in his feedback but I'd be very cautious on this one.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

Rather have a dark background so I can see the edges, pins, psa logo. But it does look more legit than this one oasis1994 had on the BST last night and listed on ebay.

He left out the part that he was in Africa, on a missionary trip, in a diamond mine saving the miners, but came across a diamond horde and needed your bank account in order to launder the funds from sales to the US.

Truthfully though, I do agree that a black background would help the sale. Tough to see the encasing with a white background. Card looks nice, but you never know.

and...for this kind of money, put up a high (or higher) quality picture/scan.

One thing is for certain.....that cat sure is trying hard. I wouldn't be surprised if Feebay charged him about 5 bucks for that 15-pt description.

I wasn't going to bid, but I changed my mind when I read this in the seller's description: Made 14 free throws in one quarter (2nd time) (at Miami, December 30, 1992, 4th qtr.) (ONE OF 4 PLAYERS TIED FOR THE STANDING RECORD).

Other Jordan rookie card sellers are missing the boat by not putting stuff like this in their description.
  • I like his table of contents as part of the description.

Otherwise everything appears consistent. Should have consigned with Probstein. He will probably only get a few hits with only 1 feedback in the last 30 days.

Yup, I'm not sure whether his incredibly detailed description makes me feel better or worse
