Suggestions for an affordable Joe Jackson early card??

I'm putting together a baseball rookie checklist for my personal collection but some of the pre war cards are just not achievable even in a psa 1. Unless I hit the lottery I'm not going to be the mkt for a 1914 Ruth. Luckily there are quite a few good options for Ruth cards prior to the 33 goudey.. The only player I had trouble finding something for was shoeless Joe Jackson. Does anyone have any suggestions for a card in the 1913-1916 range that I would be able to get for 1-2k.

Scans of most of my Misc rookies can be found <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.collectors.com/m...y&keyword1=Non%20major">here

    1913 National Game
    1913 Tom Barker Game
    1914 Polo Grounds Game

Seems like they are the only ones in that price range from 1913 - 1916.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • a t200 team fatima card is the cheapest. on the high end of ur budget 2k you can probably get an authentic sporting news. or you can go for a strip card.
  • I think he is in the 1940 Play Ball set. It just depends on how early you want. This is probably the most affordable of the old cards.

  • Those game cards listed above would be the way to go. You can get them in vg'ish condition for about 600-800 each if you are patient. The 1940 Playball is nice but it's a commemorative and some folks would want something during his playing days.
