I think Fleer needed an editor-in-chief (or an editor OF Chief).

Maybe those two cards were actually the correct spelling and all other years were wrrong.

Philadelphia Gum topped that. They misspelled Herb Adderley's name all four years they printed football cards.

Fleer screwed up when they started running the presses in 1981 and never stopped. They are still printing '81 Fleer "error" cards somewhere I am sure.
