GAI Auto Question

I understanding GAI "Mike Brown" authenticated stuff is considered "stay away." What about GAI "Steve Sipe?" I am across a Mariano Rivera auto warm up jersey, but have not pulled the trigger because I am concerned with the GAI authentication. Any recommendations here? Meatloaf
