CSA Question Trimmed or Not?

I assume that CSA is out of business. My question is about what % of their graded cards do you think are fake or trimmed? I am thinking about getting one and cracking out and submit to PSA. I am not concerned about getting the same grade, just EOT. Thanks. Here is item # 230923426588

I alway heard that old CSA red label was okay but I got burned just last week with three EOT's. It's a gamble.

  • I bought one CSA card in the past, and then I didn't even bother submitting, as trim was pretty obvious.

...Just my opinion, but I wouldn't submit the CSA card along with others at the same time.

I would not submit with other cards. I would crack it out and send by itself. I just wonder if it will get graded,

I asked them, and they all said they think you need to learn how to post a link.
  • It's easy to do a link

I have one question: What is Registration? I've never understood what that means. I've known some people that are registered, I think for different reasons.

Registration usually refers to focus and clarity of print.

That Starr RC doesn't look right to me. I would pass on it.

When I worked in silk screen, registration meant if the colors lined up. Sometimes you see a hint of yellow, magenta, or cyan that is slightly off from the rest. If its off too much, it will make it blurry.

This card is an extreme example of when registration is off.

  • A couple of months ago I bought two CSA graded cards, both 9's. I cracked submitted them to PSA and one came back as an 8 and the other as evidence of trimming.

Be very glad the auction closed w/o you posting the winning bid. The right edge on the back scan by the cartoon looks a little funky. For a card that appears that sharp and is that desirable, the maxim must be applied:
"Why isn't it in a PSA slab?" Perhaps it was previously subbed to PSA and was deemed EOT?

+ 1. Both edges and corners look a little suspect to me (wavy edges, bat-ear corners).
