    Left
  • I concur LEFT
  • Better scanner/scan on the left, which makes it hard to compare the two. Also, the card on the right is askew inside the holder, giving the illusion of a tilt.
  • Looks like the card on the right has a couple of border chips on the top left.

I like the ISA card. It just looks the best to me.
  • The ISA has the best centering

Hate to say it but ISA looks the best, logo on top right corner is off register on card on left

Yes Mike, that awesome card is mine lmfao
I sent a small batch to ISA cos I was bored, curious, etc so feel free to laugh.
I have to say that I really like their holders.

The ISA looks better to me. It looks slightly larger than
the other two cards too. Is the ISA example a sheet cut OPC card?
Could be an optical illusion with the holder though too.

**Edited because I didnt even see the 3rd card lol

    they are all NRMT+/MINT

the MIDDLE one looks better to me

the left one is slightly better centered but looks to have a slight tilt to cut, and the registration is ever so slightly off (ie the OPC emblem)
the far right one has tiny border nicks or roughcut
  • The ISA card is hands down the best of the three.

The isa looks the best IMO but I don't see the "OPC rough cut" on the isa one that the psa ones do have. If I were a buyer I would pass on the one just because the edges don't look right to me. In also not an expert in 88 OPC so it's totally possible that topps actually sharpened their cutters and started producing cards with sharp edges in Canada by the late 80s.
Scans of most of my Misc rookies can be found <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.collectors.com/m...y&keyword1=Non%20major">here
  • Help me to understand the comments on the OPC registration issue with the card on the left. I don't see it but would like to understand the issue. Thanks
  • Bought the card for $8 raw on Ebay. It seems that the 88s I've handled were cut better that year for some reason.
As far as I know, it is not sheet cut. Here's a pic of the back. Very very miniscule chipping and some examples of my 12 card sub to them.
Heck, at $4 a card and one week turnaround, it was fun. I think I have a new favorite holder. Same size as PSA but thicker like SGC.

if you could Photoshop that ISA Shanny hiding behind a Kocur or Darren McCarty card I'd be able to give a more informed opinion.
