1980 Topps baseball wax rack box--special thanks to Justin's Shoebox!

Some of you saw the PSA 10 1980 Henderson RC that was pulled by Handyman and submitted to PSA by Justin a while back. I bought a bunch of 1980 Topps baseball
wax racks from Justin back then when he was selling lots of 79 trays/80 wax racks on the board, and soon realized I had acquired a full box's worth (24 racks) so when I
mentioned this to Justin he very graciously and generously offered to ship me the empty box to place the racks in. Here's the full box now, just as it appeared on the
counter at the candy store back in 1980!

Edit to add: Now, if anyone has an empty 1979 wax tray box they're willing to sell, I have enough of those to fill a box, as well!

Looks great! To me, that is the best way to display old unopened packs - exactly the way they looked on the the store shelf back in the day. That is why I always pop up the lid on a wax box when I put it on display. Doing that creates true time-capsule like emotions.

Very nice gesture by Justin to give you that box. Great looking display piece. image

That looks great - good job to the both of you.

Now you should pick up the 81's at BBCE to go with it. image
