Has anyone ever been in the background of a card?

Looking at the cards with crowd shots behind the player got me thinking. Some people you can make out perfectly while others are just blurs. I wonder if the people caught in these photos even know their face is on a sports card?

I just googled Patrick Kane as I was not sure if he was a hockey player or you! LOL
Link does not seem to be working by its a 1997 Sports Illustrated #73 John Smoltz card.
<< <i>Probably the most famous example - Patrick Kane.
From a website: What you see right there isn't just a 1994-95 Pinnacle hockey card of Sylvain Turgeon, what you see is the original Patrick Kane rookie card.
That little kid in the lap of the guy wearing the Bill Cosby sweater Yes, that is indeed Buffalo native and Blackhawk Patrick Kane.
Normally, this card would probably sell for .10, and that's if someone felt the need to giveaway a dime for a Sylvain Turgeon card, but on Ebay, folks are trying to tie in Kane's appearance with a higher sell price.
Edited to add: Hookem, I had no idea who Patrick Kane was either!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Not a card, but when I was in college, I was the PA announcer for the men's hockey team. One year they won the conference championship and the captains were presented with the championship trophy. The next year the booster club created a bunch of schedule posters, featuring the 3 captains with the trophy right after getting it. Right behind them, draped over the glass with a front row seat was me. I think I had to hand the microphone to the conference president so he could make the presentation and because I had to reach over the glass I just stayed there. Quite jarring to say the least to realize it was my ugly mug on that poster.

<< <i>Vernon Wells' father painted this image for the 1992 Upper Deck set; his dad included Vernon and himself in the bottom right hand of the painting.
That is awesome! I never knew that. Too bad Wells never really became a superstar, or this card would be a good seller.

Wells was heavily hyped early in his career. It did nothing for this card though.

This is the closest thing I can come up with for myself.
My wife and I attended the second to the last Cardinals game in the famous 1998 season. Of course, Mark McGwire hit HR numbers 67 and 68 that day. We thought that would be the record, but he hit number 69 and 70 the next day.
I had my 35mm camera there that day and on every pitch that was throw to Mark McGwire I snapped a picture. I actually got the swing of number 67 and 68.
If you compare this card with the picture I took, I probably snapped it less than a second before the picture for this card was snapped. In my picture, you can see McGwire is at the end of his swing holding the bat almost straight up. In the card, he is still holding the bat, but is starting to take a step.
Many times I have tried to find the baseball in mid air, but have not been able to do so. You can see a bunch of white specks (tshirts, light, etc) but I have yet to find the baseball. The ball landed in the left center field bleachers.
I have always thought this was neat, but have never thought to share it until now.
