Had to get this one, the thumb is almost full AND the eagle's leg and breast has just about all the feathers. It's tough to find these with a good strike on both sides. Now to find a 40-S, 42-S and 44-S like this!

My icon IS my coin. It is a gem 1949 FBL Franklin.
Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.
Nice pick up - I know how hard they are to find well struck !

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
In my experience, the 41-S can occasionally be found with a nice hand. Those other three- NOT.
edit: Here is another. Yours looks to have a great reverse strike as well!
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Congratulations.
Always love lookimg at these.
One of my favorite coin designs of all time..

Yepper, +1! The 40S is a disaster, overall probably the worst in the series.
A small touch of rub on a typical 40-S and the coin immediately goes to VF.
Hoard the keys.
