My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Hauls of Shame is a great site with a ton of fantastic information. They were central to the exposing of Barry Halper and his famous collection as a fraud, the work of thieves.

    However...

The guy who runs the site is also an admitted fraud. He also had a colorful life prior to his work in the memorabilia field as a rapper in the group 3rd Bass (he's the dude in the middle):

Based on the info on Hauls of Shame, it sure does sound like that 'card' was stolen from the NYPL.
