New Purchase...Counterstamped Sol

I've been adding some counterstamped pieces to the chopmark collection. It's pretty random at this point, but I think they're pretty cool...anyone have any to show off ?

That's very neat, but what's the story behind a Guatemalan 1-real c/s on a Peruvian sol? Seems a big discrepancy in value, like revaluing a silver dollar as a half dime!

Or was it for another purpose? I know nothing about these, obviously.

Looks like 1/2 real actually and I was wondering the same thing as you. Was that simply a convinient die ? Surely silver is silver and the value must be higher than a 1/2 real ?
