    It doesn't appear to be 1996 as there were consecutively numbered sales on 1st October and the following 28th January. It might be sale 16 from the previous year which would fall within the sales either side of the date, but I have disposed of the medals only sales to reduce the volume of paper. Sorry, it's bad enough keeping all the coin catalogues!
