I'm not sure how many people here collect aurei, but I'm offering a very pleasing, "dirty gold" Antoninus Pius aureus for $14K or best offer. A trade in generic gold is preferred if possible but I'm open to other trades (especially other Roman gold). This coin last sold on 2/29/2008 at Tkalec AG as lot 472, realizing $11,974.

    Thanks! It has indeed- it was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I do like it a lot but I have wider goals now. After thinking that I'd be willing to sell it at some point, I figured that I may as well sell it now to avoid getting further attached to it!
