Because it's going to cost him more to get to those places and deliver the card.

I stood side by side to Dan Marino for about a minute last month at Sun Life Stadium while he explained to the security guard who he was and why he was going into the stadium suite area before anyone else. The security guy didn't seem to know him and stopped him at the door but once someone on the inside saw it, they came very quickly and told the security guy to back off once they saw what was going on. Funny thing was there was a statue of Marino right outside the stadium (on the other side though) This was at the BCS title game. Marino was cool about it but he kept saying "I'm Dan Marino", LOL

he does work there occasionally.....perhaps if he'd been schlepping around a few co-workers they would have recognized him.
