I would think the coin has been cleaned in the past. It's hard to say exactly due to the pics, could just be the lighting. Would your coin grade at PCGS? I would think so, it may get netted down a grade, due to the light cleaning, as long as there is not harsh lines on the coin from being scrubbed I think it would grade. That is just my opinion though. I think the coin is a VF25, but it is possible they could net the grading down to a 20.

So, between having 2 forums grade your coin for you (and tell you if it's cleaned), from anywhere between F-15 and XF40, (with one details VF, which I agree with, due to what looks like a scratch near the last 2 stars on the right of the obverse in view #2), what do YOU grade it?

Wouldn't that be nice if we graded like that.

I'm seeing a general swipe in the direction of upper right to lower left on the obverse.
VF...maybe a light cleaning in the past but have seen alot worse in holders
Hoard the keys.
<< <i>there also seems to be good deal of pvc at 10 o'clock on the obv. >>
Yes, and lightly cleaned in VF. A long acetone soak might get that pvc off.
Does everyone, like me, grade the coin in their head, then see what everyone else grades?
