1877 PCGS Genuine Doubled Die Obverse - $265
An example of this scarce DDO, this one has some obverse surface issues - maybe planchet flaw or ??? Light golden tone, probably secondary toning. A cheap way to find this tough DDO, with great detail for the price. I'd call it XF details.
1878-S PCGS VF25 Doubled Die Reverse - $275
Nice little naked-eye DDR that is attributed on the holder. Looks nicer than my pictures.
1878-S Doubled Die Reverse RAW - $195
I bought this one to replace my XF45 but it didn't turn out like I had hoped. I think the coin will probably not make it into plastic, I don't think the toning is natural and the surfaces are suspect. That being said, this is a really cheap way to land a decent raw version of this doubled die reverse.
