just read an article on cnnsi by there nba writer marty burns. he was writing about a possible trade rumor with iverson going to toronto for vince carter. rumors are just that rumors but if it does happen who gets the better of that trade and why

The better end of the trade goes to the Fans cause hopefully we won't have to watch AI anymore They should trade him to the West and see how good he does.

they're both gonna be worse because both those players have been w/ those teams for their whole careers... going to a new place is though, esspecially leaving your teammates that you worked so hard to be the best together on the court... will be the bad thing to do.

I still think there setting up little ivo to have some big games, because he does not want to leave philly. If that's the only way to get him to play "team ball" then do what you gotta do.

Vince carter with mutombo would probably get a better deal. vc is more of a team player than ivo anyday, but vc has alot to prove next season.

I think it would be good oppurtunities for them both, they both are on crappy teams and it would give them a fresh new start

First of all, I dont think that will happen. I mean, trading a superstar for a superstar, there isn't much to it except an exchange.
Iverson is a PG-SG, and Carter is a SG-SF
Toronto already has Alvin Williams who is showing that he can be a solid starter.
Philly may use Carters position, maybe in for M. Harpring.

If it did happen, neither will get the advantage, cuz you are lacking a spot to be filled.
The fans, like 8kobe said, will be the advantages and disadvantages. Or if the player is closer to home or somethin.

I think that if any team/player did better it would be he 6ers. I think Toronto fans/players would get sick of AI and his selfishnes.

Actually, if Iverson had a Shaq on his team, he wouldn't have to shoot so much.

I think that it may be better for the Iverson and the Raptors in the long run. Iverson is a better leader than Carter and he is more willing to shoot the final game deciding shot. And leadership seems to be what the Raptors need. Carter isn't a great leader just a fancy dunker and overrated player. He's good maybe great definately one of the tops in the league but he is not the guy to constantly step up and take charge of the game. Even though Iverson is a worse shooter he still has that ability to create shots for himself. I'd take Iverson over Carter anyday. And Shaq over anyone any day. I really don't think that trade would happen but I never thought Jordan was coming back...I still don't think that he should have but hey that's a whole nother topic. Chris.
