Question on mint subscriptions

Last year I made subscriptions for both the Prf and Burnished ASEs. The mint released the 2013 Proofs on the 25th and when I checked the status on the 26th it said BACKORDERED. Silly me, I was thinking the mint would fill subscriptions the day of release. Can anyone enlighten me as to how/when subscriptions are filled? Thanks.

The subscriptions were made around mid 2012.

Wasn't the some news about a planchet shortage so even though your order is in the system they don't have the coins minted to fill orders yet.
Others that had subscription older than yours would still be in line ahead of you.

Planchet shortage, here we go again. Only this time they ran out in January.

Are you sure you are looking at the right order and not another product or even the subscription order?

Just rechecked the order, now it says "In stock and reserved" and "your order is in process". Beats me, but this is much better than "backordered".

I have canceled my subscriptions in the past as I noticed that people that ordered directly on the day of release, or close to it, were getting their orders before I got mine...even though I had subscriptions.
Sounds like they haven't gotten any better.....

My ASE's ordered under a subscription will ship soon. Fedex # in hand but tracking not available yet
