    Definitely dipped.

    I don't know how I'd feel owning it.

    I would much rather own a toned example.

    Edited to add: This is a great example why you can't say dipping is cleaning, because if you did, then this coin has got to be bodybagged.

    It was indeed a nice Seated Dollar before its bath in Dip. Looks great now, but the new owner will quite likely find light brown watermark stains on it in 10 yrs. after removing from the SDB.

  • I like it, but I collect coins minted before 1865, so really not for me.

    I would wager that prior to dipping, if the coin was slabbed, no way it was PR67.

    Probably a toned PR65.

    A quick dip...then voila!!....a PR67.
