First Strike Question

Some boxes from the U.S. Mint do not have dates on the label. However, they do have the USPS Tracking number. This is the case for some sealed 75th anniv. ASE SF sets that I have. If the tracking number is entered into the USPS web site's tracking feature delivery prior to the FS cut off date can be verified. Will PCGS accept this as FS eligible?
Thanks, Ron

Ron, I sure don't know. I figure at some point in the future the tracking numbers do not work. Seems all boxes I get from the Mint have a date on them somewhere. Of course it is usually UPS or Fed x.

These were shipped USPS. There is no date anywhere on the box. The tracking number works now however, as you note, they won't be on the USPS site forever. Wish The Mint would date all boxes. Of course, The Mint could care less about FS.
<< <i>They use the date on the packing slip inside the sealed box you send in. >>

Personally, for my own peace of mind, I'd print the USPS Tracking Data and attach it to the box just so I wouldn't question it in the future.
If this was Really, Really important, I'd make up a spread sheet showing the tracking number along with the USPS delivery date to keep on my computer incase the hardcopy got lost somehow.
