Major auction houses descriptions

How accurate do you feel that the online descriptions are for coins from the major auction firms? Heritage, Stack's and Bowers, Goldberg's,etc.? I chuckle sometimes when I see a description that highlights sea green, turquoise, and lilac covering the obverse or reverse of a particular coin when I only see a light shade of blue or green. Maybe my monitor needs a tweek but mostly I think not. What are your thoughts? Are they just trying to hype up a coin as much as possible for the consignor?

I think two things:
1. The cataloger has seen the coin in hand.
2. The cataloger's job is to help market the coin.
