Super Fast PSA Loggage....

I am not sure if things are normalizing or it was just because I had the fastest service level written on the outside of my package but PSA logged my order incredibly fast.

I have been working on putting together a sub for a handful of months and sent off two separate orders.

The first being two collectors club renewal vouchers for cards that came back min size req and the second was 44 cards for the $6 special.

I have a wide variety of cards in the $6 special.

The package was mailed Tuesday morning from Winter Park, FL and when I checked this morning they were already logged in and in process.

I can only hope my grades come back as strong as this process time.

Based on recent posts, it appears that subs that have all the same year and sport seem to be popping quickly. Unfortunately, the subs I have in are all mult year / multi sport image

Would this hold true for non-sports as well? In other words, if my sub is all from the same release, is it likely to pop sooner?

This is the first sub I have sent in since June and it is exciting to have some cards in the grading cue.

I can't help myself but I end up checking the status constantly.

I hadn't sent into PSA in a while either but love the anticipation although it drives me half crazy. I have more fun looking at my grades than opening any Christmas present.

As a follow-up to this, my 45-day special sub was graded THREE DAYS after it was logged in! When I called to verify that the sub had been received, the customer service rep told me that PSA would make up for the slow loggage on the grading end. Boy was she right. I would describe the 11-card sub as accurately graded too. Kudos to PSA.

Constant delays with logging orders in is just another method to stretch the turnaround times from what is advertised.

It would be more respectful to customers to just increase the turnaround times instead of this stuff.

When it takes 20 days to get grades on something you paid to pop in 10 days, are you owed a voucher of some sort? Do I call customer support for that?

PSA use to stand behind their turn around times many moons ago and give you vouchers if they were not dont in the time specified. Im sure vouchers are a think of the past. I feel for you my friend, seeing peoples 45 day subs pop in three days and im still waiting on my 15 "free" renewal subs that is currently over the time specified. Yeah its upsetting. I love PSA, but sometimes I have to scratch my head.

I'll let you know when one of the orders I have on file and pending eventually pops. October special (1955 to present), 45-day TAT, logged in on 10/25/12, 51 items, still being processed on 2/5/13... Anyone have an order that took longer?

(in fairness, I did request a ship-hold for a week while on vacation during the wait, but that's really only 5 business days and only a small portion of the duration so far)

My renewal sub was received this morning. Hoping for quick loggage too. 3 of 6 cards have never been graded by psa before. I included emails from the specs department approving them for grading so hopefully everything gets slabbed.

Does PSA have any SOP in place for how cards get put in their grading queue? When I made my last sub of all modern baseball (2008 and up, all base cards and inserts) I didn't expect to get my cards back any quicker than the 45 day time, but it's a bit frustrating to see the quick loggage and poppage of others who also submitted on a 45 day turnaround.

My December sub was received December 19th, logged JANUARY 3, and then the wait began. Meanwhile, I am seeing posts where people are getting logged and popped in the time it took me to just get logged. What am I missing?

And of course there are others who mentioned they sent under a quicker service and they're not getting their cards, but those on longer service times are. What happens from the time a submission is received to the time it is shipped out?

My January special logged in today.

    Received on 01/29

9 days about same as last two prior subs.

45 days due to pop on April 11th.

    The wait begins.

Fortunately I have a 10 pack sub due to pop this month and a 30 card sub due this month.

So the wait will be broken up.

Good luck to all who have subs pending.

Just a heads up that PSA is definitely slow on logging submissions at the moment. I sent in a package they received Monday and it is still not logged. I got tired of hitting refresh on my account page and called customer service and she said they were running about a week and a half to two weeks from the date of receiving it on orders under this months specials.

They have been bombarded with subs. PSA is the leader in the grading industry.
  • I have an order that I paid for express on (I am terribly impatient). I am on seven business days today, and no loggage yet. I won't send in at this level again. $35 a card is way too much for an order that is still going to take a few weeks to get back to me. Customer service told me that it should get logged next week...crossing my fingers.

Did you right the service level on the outside of the box?

I wrote 'express' on the box, and the customer service rep told me that I should have written '5 business days' instead. I doubt it matters...I think they are just really backed up.

Gotcha. PSA is doing huge numbers right now and in the bigger picture that is a good thing.

My submission was logged today. I have a small PSA/DNA submission and wrote this on the outside of the box as it was the fastest service level of the cards submitted. Nice to see as I was thinking the end of the week.

My most recent sub was received by them on Oct 9 and logged on Oct 28th...by far the longest I've waited. I also forgot to write the service level on the box which I usually do, so that my have had something to do with it.

    50 days

I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this but I see that PSA moved the wait time to 50 days on the lowest priced specials.
