Early Bird option at major shows

I am new to going to the big shows and was wondering if anyone here has paid for the Early Bird option at the shows? In Baltimore, it looks like you get in 2 hours before the gates open on the first day. I am more of a bullion guy, but always like the rarer/premium bullion. I also like to look through the dealers with loads of silver dollars to try to find decent ones in the circ piles. I'm not sure how many dealers are up and running/open during those early bird hours and whether there are deals to be made before the show starts, or if most of the deals happen dealer to dealer before the Early Birds can get it.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

if you are looking for coins that move quickly , then I would say the bird fee is worth it, still, its best to get with a few dealers and have them look for you and make contacts, some of the best coins never make it to the show floor they get bought and sold behind the curtain. Also because the show floor is so fast, you would need to make a quick hit list on what dealers to view in the first e-bird hours time frame, so not to waste time.

IMO, if your mainly a bullion guy than I don't see the need to spend an extra 100 bucks to aquire bullion. it will be around after the regular crowd comes in. Unless you were looking for a specialty like say china unicorn gold or such?
