Most of the 9's were in my mind 50/50 so I was pretty disappointed overall on those. The David Robinson was a real surprise as I thought it was a 50/50 9 or 10 as well.

Yeah they are pretty tough Eric. The 2 Maddux will definitely be cracked and resubbed as 10's go for over 200 and 9's bring around 20 bucks. Probably the same with Mcgwire as his 10's bring 50-75 while 9's bring about 3-5 bucks each. I will be really interested to get the Robinson card back and see what I missed because I really thought it was a 10 and can't believe I missed something big enough to make it a 7.5......lol

Were you expecting an Authentic designation on the Gehrig?
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Yeah the Gehrig has a lot of paper loss on the back. Here is a scan.

I'm probably gonna keep it for now Eric, but I definitely agree that a psa 1 would probably bring more $$$$ when it comes time to sell. Maybe I will try and get it re-slabbed at the national this year.

In checking out VCP, there's really not much of a price difference between Auth and 1. It really comes down to eye appeal at that level and, as stated, yours presents quite nicely. I'd keep it as is.
