Wow thats a nice card. Was it slabbed awhile ago? If so, it may have a shot at a 9 now.

  • centering looks right - whats going on on the lower left corner - is that the card or something behind it?

That looks like the plastic piece on the inside of the PSA slab.

Nice card, but I think the fisheye to the right of the "O"& to the left of the "E" in "ORIOLES" and on the black border along the left of the card, together with a little bit of snow, keeps it out of a "9" slab. If you do send it in I hope I am wrong, as the card is worth 25xs more in a "9".

The fisheyes won't hurt you, but the snow on the surface will keep it in a PSA 8 holder, imo..

Agreed. If the snow is dust on the holder or scan bed, crack and resub. If it's on the card, you'll have a hard time getting it in a 9 holder. There was a time when they got lax on print spots but I think they've toughened up again.
  • i've had some real sharp cards come back 7 and 8 due to even light snow small fisheyes...

    Agreed, but worth a shot.

  • Looks like an either way card...could go either way depending on grader. I personally would give it a shot.

send it in a group of 1975 topps cards where this card is clearly the best of the group. but the group isnt junk either and should have 9s in the mix.
