As most know I sold the majority of my different coins, tokens and Dansco Albums to focus
on a type set and finish my toned ASE sets and two world sets that represents who CoinsAreFun is.

I wanted to keep a few coins of each that I feel doesn't need to be slabbed to enjoy them
and they are not particularly expensive either..........they are coins I enjoy to look at

If you have some small accumulation like this post them.....I would love to see it.


These sets are not even in particular order. Some of them are proofs, some are Unc's.

Collect how you like and enjoy coins and life!!!

I like your 1960 and 1962 Frankies.

I find that my non-collecting friends are more drawn to the unslabbed coins in my collection, even if they're worth only a little over face value. It's sort of a "must not be real if I can't touch it" mentality........

I like 'em all. You need to find a toned '60 and '62 Frankie. That threw me off when I gazed over them. Those Eagles are nice!

Collecting just for fun is definitely what it is all about. Like you, I like Franklins. I've got some that for the date/mm are as nice as they come, but that doesn't stop me from picking up the occasional raw Frankie in any grade that catches my eye as a fun example for that date/mm. My primary 1954-S Frankie (PCGS MS66) is a plate coin for Tomaska's most recent book, but that didn't stop me last year from picking up this raw '54-S that I just enjoyed the look of. The images are by Shane Canup, and I think he did an excellent job.

btw, I know that I have some Kennedy's mixed in
I'm waiting for my other small capital holder and will
put the Franklins and Kennedy's in the right place.

But the will still be mixed with proofs and Unc's
