  • I think the other 100 dealers selling Pf69s for little to no margin over normal takes some of the luster off of that sale.
  • I'll feel sorry for the one that shells out all that cash. Ill take a 69 any day.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

True enough. But the only redeeming quality of this post in my view is the fact that one can easily see the coin has a giant spot between the E and R in Liberty on the obverse as well as more spotting to the right of the date on the obverse and in my humble opinion Heritage should pull the coin from the auction entirely, or at the very minimum correct its erroneous description of the coin to warn a buyer of the obvious problems with this coin that used to grade MS70 but no longer does. At best, the coin would grade MS69 at PCGS today and be worth $50 - $100. This coin should have been returned to PCGS for removal from the pop reports (assuming the spots would not come off which they normally do not) not auctioned off.

As always, just my 2 cents.

I fully agree, Mitch, and it SHOULD be pulled. Thats why he's spamming it (gotta check the other forums, bet he's got it plastered on every coin forum he could find), so HE doesn't have to deal with it, as he knows it's a dog. Dump it quick, wash his hands of it He's thinking 'Let the sucker that buys it deal with it'.

I hope it does get pulled...some potential bidder with not enough knowledge/too much $$, will get taken for a loooooong ride.
    I'll come up with something.
