The 52 LG isn't B/S the obverse looks to be a tad bit MAD (misaligned) which is quite common.

Your half dime is, as LanceNewman correctly pointed out, an example of the LM-1/V6 die marriage, an extremely common die marriage. Your coin is a middle die state, or an example of the LM-1.2 remarriage, with filling in the upper loops of both S1 and S2 of STATES. In later die state (LM-1.3) a retained cud develops above NIT of UNITED, which is scarce.
