Does anyone know anything about the Rare Red Color of the 1969 Drenks Football pins?

Are the Red Color pins Rare? Does anyone know the origin of the Red pins?

All the pins I have seen are green but I just came across some Drenks pins that are red.

Mears Online Auctions sold a lot of six Red Color Drenks pins for $346 back in 2010!

Drenk's potato chips were sold in red tins. That is why these pins are red. These red pins failed miserably when shown to prospective stores. Once they were green they took off. Rare? Not really. There are dozens of these sets in the Green Bay area that I have seen in person. Though, certain players in red have been tougher to come by. Starr, Taylor and Fleming and a couple more. I am guessing the sales men kept the big names. You have the most common red players that I have seen.
