How could the Super Bowl affect Ray Lewis and Randy Moss's legacy?

Lewis already has a ring and MVP and considered one of the best of all time. I don't really think a loss would hurt his legacy too much. A win would be nice to retire on but don't really think it would change his legacy either since he already has the hardware. Moss on the other hand has a ton to gain IMO. A Good performance in the Super Bowl and a ring can really round out his career. He has been virtually irrelevant the past 4 years... But if he could pull it together for one game... I think it would have a pretty big impact on his legacy. Glad to see 2 of the all time greats compete far a championship in the last year if their careers.

It would be a great story for either player to ride off into the sunset with a Super Bowl victory a la Elway, Strahan, etc. A loss will have no effect on either player's already secure legacy.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
