Is this a scarce NGC slab?

I'm not really into collecting slabs, but is this one a scarce one?

Oh, seems to be missing the designer's initials also. I guess that's not all uncommon though.

Scarce NGC slabs do exist. 1st generation, etc. This is not one. It has a lot of the more "modern" features...barcode, hologram, etc. The older ones do not and the first gen are actually all black besides the coin

Looks like an NGC 7, used for a few years, 1997-2000.

There are slab versions with all the modern features but were used for only several weeks (NGC 8, e.g.). I would assume they're fairly scarce.

Do those NGC 8's actually command a premium. I cherry picked a 1944-D Walker with hand engraved initials in a NGC 8 and just assumed cross it or have NGC attribute the variety.

No you have a common slab.

Incorrect, you can tell because the reverse label is short and not long. >>
