Wayne Miller plate coin question

I have owned the Wayne Miller book for 30 years and have always cherished it. Now I own one of the plate coins from that book (the 1881). I'd like to display it at our annual coin show, but don't really have much infomation about Mr. Miller and would like to display the coin and info about him as a tribute.
Can any of you tell me more about Wayne Miller and his career?

Wayne Miller was my dealer when I was a kid, and was a high school classmate of my dad. He still has a shop in Helena, Montana. He's not on the national show circuit much anymore after the hassles of traveling with coins increased after 9/11. Good guy, and I still visit his shop when I go to Helena.

He sold his personal coin collection in the 1980s for over $1M and started his charity, God's Love, with the proceeds. He runs his business mostly for his charity these days.

He worked for my grandfather when he was a kid. My uncle has stories of Wayne going home with a bag of coins hanging on the handle bars of his bicycle.

Thanks for the info. Looks like we owe Mr. Miller respect for not only his silver dollar expertise, but also for his humanitarian efforts!
