Coins are always great though this one comes with considerable friction on the obverse devices in particular. YQQ, please get a job as grader at PCGS on the days I submit! LOL..

Yikes, I have seen much better slabbed 62 by PCGS. Do readers not ding at all for the considerable marking/wear to king's jawline, nose, big hit to brow? I feel generous at 62 and really want to slide it to 58 as I've seen 55's with less action.

Impossible to dtermine any possible minute wear from the images....................but....................if it has what I call some minor "circulation fuzzies", then it's an AU58. If no true wear exists, then I'd say MS62 at best (I would say, 61, but the reverse pulls it up, IMO)
If this is the same coin I saw posted on another forum, then I know the grade on the holder - I will say it is very optmistic IMHO. It looks like it was used to play street hockey.

In some parts of the country, street hockey is all there is...
In all fairness, the 1937 and 38 just do not come nice and I suspect in part it is due to how they were handled. These dates just are not the finest moments for the series

I finally rec'd this coin yesterday by Canada Post registered mail and in-hand it looks much much better than the photos. I wish I could take coin pictures!

Would most likely grade at PCGS ms63 or maybe ms64.
YQQ, I hope you were being sarcastic when saying NGC and PCGS ms66.
