Are there any low-end football card collectors on here?????!!!!

What happened to low-end cards? I actually like low-end cards because they have a less chance of losing value. I think everyone should atleast collect low-end of their favorite players or team. Just my opinion. Someone please back me up on this so I don't feel like an a$$. If anyone wants to trade low-end tell me what your looking for.

Thanx
Ron

ron, it's too bad you are in the minority today! too many folks out there are just concerned with what they can sell a card for and not about the "collecting for fun part"! i'm not ashamed to admit i was a big kirby puckett fan...as a matter of fact, i have nearly 1000 of his 1987 topps cards just because i liked the card. not because it will ever be worth anything. heck, you should see my pete rose stuff. don't think i have anything over a psa 7 condition from the mid 70's and before, but i like it all because of the player. the kids today put too much emphasis on $ value as opposed to what it's worth to them as collectors. granted, i like NICE stuff, but i'm not too concerned with what i can turn around and sell it for. i'll pay too much for a card or a coin if i like it and feel i "have" to have it! oh well, i guess i'm the big sucker!! take care! tim
