RIP. Great coach, fun to watch. Probably a little biased as an Orioles fan, but can't think of another coach over the last 40 years with a better personality. Maybe Lasorda, but i'll take Earl.

One of my favorite Earl pictures where he dramtically throws the umpire out of the game...

If that video is real . . . . WOW! The ump asking him "why you going to be in the HOF, for f'ing up World Series'?".

I find that hard to belive, but maybe in the good old days. How either of them kept from laughing is beyond me.

And did the ump put a piece of gum in his mouth about 1/3 of the way through the argument?

    RIP Earl.

RIP Mr. Weaver. I always liked that guy, even when I was a Yankee fan as a kid.

Thanks for sharing those videos ... they were enjoyable.

IIRC, I once read a story about Earl Weaver and one of his "ARGUMENTS" with an umpire during the game. Supposedly Earl and the umpire, along with their spouses, were friends. When Earl came out of the dugout to "argue" a call, he was actually inviting the umpire and his wife to dinner that night. But in his "EARLESQUE" fashion he made it seem like he was arguing.
    STAY HEALTHY!

At some point today, I'll be tipping a cold one in honor of "pitching, defense and the three-run homer."
