Will you be looking for anything specific at the National?

Ive been thinking about this for the past month or so. This will be my first one I will be attending but I'm already thinking about what I want to pick up.
I would like a couple of things. A Nolan Ryan rookie PSA 8, 93 Jeter SP PSA 9, 1962 Maris PSA 7, 1957 Ted Williams PSA 7, 1964 Mantle PSA 8, 59 Maris PSA 8.
I wont be able to afford not even half of these but I plan on picking up at least 3 of these and just soaking up the whole experience. I am very excited to meeting many of you and the closer we get, hopefully we can ALL meet up together one night.
So what you you be on the hunt for? (besides cards llafoe)

<< <i>Marc - I think the problem you will have looking for those cards at the National will be pricing. My experience at the 2012 National was that many dealers of nice PSA cards thought they were trading in gold. I still think eBay plus patience is the way to get the best deals.

Daniel is right. A lot of dealers price their stuff way above VCP. Some will negotiate and some won't. Then there are the dealers that have their stuff priced accordingly. It's not unlike your typical card show except it is about 100X the size. There will be alot of goods deals to be had. You just have to search for them. It is a blast. Looking at all the cards, busting wax at the BBCE table and hanging out with the guys from the boards.
As far as what I will be looking for.....not sure yet. I will be picking up some un-opened and some Reds cards. Besides that, anything else that catches my eye.

I'm hoping I can find a high grade Munson 1971. It's my dream card.
Also want some unopened racks/cellos from 1970's. Need some 1977 high grade cards.
Also on the prowl for some Clemente cards. . .

Guess I had too many of those shots...don't remember chasing Don....key to the National is get there early and if you can get a dealer pass it will make a huge difference. A lot of the good stuff changes hands before the show begins. Also attend as many after parties as you can..Steiners was awesome.
Appreciate today-
Bill
