Do you like relic cards? ***POLL***

You can blame lahmejoon for this POLL... it's in reaction to a comment he made in my other POLL.

Do you like relic cards... you know, the ones with splinters of bats, patches, clothing, dna (hair), etc.?

I am strongly against any insert that destroys a true historic item. Should a Lou Gehrig Jersey be cut up or a Babe Ruth bat cut into little pieces.......HECK NO! Leave them things alone. They are better off on display somewhere in whole. Just my opinion.

Most relic cards are total BS but there are some swesome relic cards out there. I have a Lawrence Taylor autographed card that has slices of face mask metal on it - totally cool. Those bat knob relics cards are cool and go for big bucks.

I hate them more than autograph cards! I'm with milbroco, leave the bats and jerseys alone.

Im not much of a fan of relic cards but I do love the autographed cards. Why not love them? As long as they arent the sticker autos that is. On card autos I enjoy!

I like 'em and have many, although I haven't chased relics from the all-time greats in many years now.

I used to do complete sets of Topps Heritage relic sets. I also have a decent Shawn Green collection. I don't think anyone will complain too much about the destruction of Green items, but I can certainly agree that cutting up items from the titans of the game is a bad idea.
