A while back I posted a thread about my need to sell of a big chunk of my collection and the idea of blogging about it, telling some of the stories behind some of the items I acquired through the years. Part of that idea was to get me to work on my writing, something I have wanted to do but haven't been motivated to work on. Every successful writer says "JUST WRITE". So write I will.

I have just four posts so far, but I hope to get on a twice a week schedule. I have pictures, but I haven't figured out how to insert them properly as yet. Comments are open after each posting, but will be moderated to keep the Viagra ads from showing up there, so your comment won't show up right away. I welcome any feedback, positive or negative, and certainly encouragement will be appreciated.

To kick off this project, and in paying forward in part Scott's (hhmag70) amazingly generous jersey giveaway I'll be giving away some things of my own. Look over the list and claim anything you want. You can claim more than one, but I'm going to try to spread the wealth. Now, most of you are going to look over this first list and say "geez, this stuff is carp!" and you're right. But I'm giving more stuff away next week, and the following week, and things will get progressively better.

    I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
