Recent pickup and opinions on Jersey/Patch card

Hey guys....I picked this card up recently and absolutely love it!! That being said, I don't have any experience at all with these modern jersey insert cards. To help resale value in the future when the time comes to sell it, does it matter if PSA grades it, Beckett grades it, or should I just leave it raw?? Also, do cards like these tend to go up in value, down in value, or stay roughly the same?

I'm not a huge fan of grading jersey cards.

Isn't the purpose to FEEL the cards?

Based on that picture, the card looks a little rough along the edges. If you submit it for grading, it might not grade high. If you want to slab it for your PC, then go for it but if you are selling it, I would leave it raw.

  • If, if, if there's a premium on graded jersey cards, it's a small one. If you're looking to sell, I'd sell raw. Plus 10s on jersey cards are tough. If you're looking to protect it, then slab away.

    Nice card.

Looking for a Glen Rice Inkredible and Alex Rodriguez cards
  • What about having is slabbed "authentic"? It would be protected and display very nicely. I think the few bucks to slab it would be well worth it.

I'm with the "I'd like to be able to feel it" crowd.
2.5 is pretty much my speed.
  • From my experience, it's best selling this material raw if it's not going to grade a 10. Add in the fact that the top edge looks a bit rough, This card would probably grade a 7 and that would add no value.
