Yet another FUN report

I'll make my report short and sweet since I should be working... I go to a national show only once every couple of years, so this was something special for me.
I'll start with all the good stuff: I was looking for some nice Peace dollars. Larry Shapiro of LSRareCoins, Don Rinkor of DRRC, and Steve of PQDollars were sharing a large booth, and this was about the only place I needed to look. I've bought some great dollars from PQD before so I know them, but I also met Larry and Don, and they were both great to deal with. Really nice coins, no pressure, very helpful, and willing to educate me. I picked up several coins there.
Found a 1902-S $10 Liberty in P63 with pretty rim toning at Sanders Trading Co. Also picked up a "headlight" Barber quarter for a type coin from Leo Frese. Yes, "this post is worthless without pictures!"
David Lawrence was great to deal with as usual. Silvetowne is my place for bullion. I don't have time to list everyone I ran into, but some of you remember James Garcia... he is now working full-time in coins and was at FUN. He's a great guy, has a great eye for coins, has an encyclopedic knowledge of coins, and is extremely generous with his time and knowledge.
RYK, how did I miss you? Were you hovering over the show with a jetpack?
Then the not-so-good stuff...
I got bumped out of my hotel for a night like a lot of other people. Yes, just like the Seinfeld episode... "You know how to TAKE a reservation; you just don't know how to HOLD the reservation."
Had an unpleasant encounter with a small bullion dealer.
Other than that, a great show!

Just wanted to say that I agree that Steve and Don are great dealers to work with if Peace and Morgan dollars are what you are in the market for. Never had anything other than a great experience when dealing with either.

I was on the ground at the show for exactly 25 hours, which is why we did not see each other. I will likely see you at the next local show. I hope you made some progress on your $10 Libs set.

I had a few negative experiences at the show but overall, very positive. Glad you had a good time too.
