FUN CBH's. The Dick Graham collection

I couldn't make the show. But I was lucky to be able to buy these two. The 1830 large letters is an R5+.
FWIW, the rest of Dick's coins are pretty special. Very clean surfaces, great strikes. Lovely eye appeal. You can see them here, if interested.
Sheridan Downey said he brought 48 of Dick's halves to the show and 40 sold in the first hour. When more than one collector in the crowd at his table wanted the same coin it was decided by a coin toss. LOL.
Lance.

That 30 LL sure is PQ for a 45 and a nice addition to the set.
And that 1818/7 ain't too shabby either.
Good photography on those too Lance.

Love the look on the 1818/7 Bustie
Two great pick-ups...congrats!
I especially like the look of the 1818/7. There were many of Dick Graham's coins that I wanted, but not enough money in my pocket.

<< <i>I wasn't at the show but I was represented and managed to snag the 24/var in what I heard was a coin flip. I have also seen Dick's entire collection and it is or was fabulous. I wish I could have bought more, but I was closed out on a few others. >>
The 24/var was a great choice. Nice luster, surfaces, good strike. Pretty. It was #4 on my short list.
Yeah, I mentioned the coin flip in the OP. It must have been quite a spectacle.
Here's your coin.

It was quite entertaining to watch Sheridan's Showdown for the right to purchase coins.
