Any one have a feel yet for how the gold stickered SPQR collection is doing at FUN??

I suspected that taking out the high bidder for the gold _ _ _ stickered slabs and dumping so many at once would result in some good buys.
Anyone have a feel for purchase price vs current prices realized??

38 GOLD CAC MERCS
Looking for Top Pop Mercury Dime Varieties & High Grade Mercury Dime Toners.
I don't know these, and I did not view the coin. Perhaps it is a solid 67 or higher?
I tried to sell a low grade $20 Lib on the BST and had no luck at around $2000. After it got the gold bean, I sold it to a dealer for $2700.
Don't know what he marked it up. It brought around $2450 in the sale all in.

Which one?
There were a handful of my old coins in the sale. I was aggressively trying to buy one back (the 1852 $5), but I looked at it again and decided to let it go.
I know I paid a premium for the one I picked up. The 1925 MS 63 Saint.

I bought this
and I am very happy with what I paid.
I was fortunate that I found an attractive, colorful, MS64 of the same date for less money than the gold sticker coin closed at...and I like my coin better.
<< <i>I would not in general pay more +1 grade for a gold bean coin. Most of the gold bean coins I have seen generally sell
at +1 to +1.5 grade premium. >>
Even if the coin is undergraded by 3 grades?
<< <i>I viewed one gold sticker coin in lot viewing. It was an 1862 half dime in an older holder, graded MS62. I figured it would sell for at least MS63 price and maybe MS64 price. I think it actually closed at MS64+ price.

I previously owned the 1862 gold sticker half dime. I bought it (unstickered) from Mark Feld and was surprised when it came back gold. I then sold it to one of the dealers who was supplying coins to Mr. SPQR.

There were several gold stickered coins in this sale that I felt had a good shot at a +2 upgrade after seeing them in lot viewing.

It really is a beauty, but I did not want to risk having to pay five hundred for it when a really nice MS64 could be had for less

Would not in this case it be more logical to send it for regrade rather than beaning. Cash on the label trumps sticker on the slab I would think.

<< <i>This one did pretty well. >>
What grade would that amount of money generally get for a similar coin? >>
MS63-64, I think.
That coin could garner an AU55 if regraded, but I think AU58 is out of the question.
The realized price was all about buzz, color, holder, and sticker.

It would have to be 64-64+
