NYINC Saturday Report

Using the excuse that i was going to meet some friends in the city, I stopped in, again, at the NYINC.
Things were a bit more calm than on Friday.
First, I made sure to have a chat with Mike Dunigan regarding my idea for building a short general set of the Spanish monarchy. Very informative and also picked up a Johanna & Carlos 2 reales which he will send me from Texas.
Came across another rather pedestrian horse medal from Belgium. Actually had a sharp argument with the vendor about the price. Dealer said he would only make $5 on the medal, so I agreed to his lowest price. Not a good deal, but the medal has some unusual qualities.
The highlight was a large Dutch Wienecke medal which appears to commemorate Dutch neutrality during the First World War.
Finally, two anonymous Byzantine Folles, because Pokermandude made me do it.

I was at the show again today. The place seemed busy again, but the place is so crowded that it will always appear busy.
I picked up another coin: see my thread on the Harold I penny. I later happened by a dealer (deliberately unnamed) table and saw they had a Burgred penny in "EF" and a Harold I. Both pieces are priced quite strong compared to how much I paid. And, my pieces are better.
I ran into Z-man again, and directed him to something that he can divulge if he desires.

Enjoyed the experience. Nice people, interaction and ... coins.
