1921 Peace Dollars

I just di a search on eBay for 21 Peace dollars.
There are plenty available but most of them are uncertified which makes me wonder if they are real or not.

1921 Peace dollars are not rare. The vast majority of what you are seeing are real - that doesn't mean they are good buys, though. A good chunk of them have been cleaned or are in lower grades.

Actually I think most should be worried at the listings of any key date "RAW" coins on eBay. And some of the non raw coins need to be looked at closely.

Using eBay a lot usually gives you a good idea of how to tell fakes, even good ones. It's practically like a front-line battlefield you can get your degree from.
