Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Urban myth. He didn't make his VARSITY as a sophomore, playing JV instead as the team needed height and picked a 6'7" kid instead of the 5'10" MJ. Made the varsity the next two years.

Apparently, Chunk from the Goonies hasn't aged in 30 years!
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
I remember watching a Bulls game back in the day on TV. Jordan was at the top of the key and tried to scoot by the defender on MJ's left, got fouled (on the ground) and as he continued his motion he tossed it up with his back to the hoop and it went in, from about 18-19 feet out. Didn't count, but got a hell of a reaction from the crowd and the announcers.
Nothing has happened or will happen on a basketball court that Jordan couldn't or didn't do.

I think it was actually Varsity as a Freshman. Either way, that didn't make the team things is overplayed to the point it is not true.
My MJ moment was that I didn't make the basketball team my freshman year in high school (because I was dating a junior the coach who was a senior liked), then was MVP the next four years (went up top grade 13 in Canada at the time).

That second one is from a Western Michigan (women's) basketball game - my alma mater. WMU, Class of '94.
Cool video, the finale was pretty freaking amazing.
