1787 connec - can't find precise match - assist please

i've been at this one for a while and a consult is in order for someone(s) with the knowledge and experience
the little thing before the A on the obv took a hit right in the middle and split it. that is what it looks like to me anyway
auctori - conneo - the O in conneo could be a C but it REALLY looks like an O in-hand with no break where the gap in the C would be. the image looks like there is but there is not.

i think you nailed it.
the reason the C seems like an O is that on this type the C is nearly closed to begin with.
